1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small value stored by the browser for a website. Similar local browser storage can remember a device-side setting without sending document content to the server.
2. pdfity first-party cookies
pdfity uses cookies created by the authentication system only when needed to sign in, maintain a session, secure redirects, and prevent forged requests.
- Session token: recognizes an authenticated pdfity session, normally for up to 30 days
- CSRF token: protects sign-in and account requests against cross-site request forgery, normally for the browser session or authentication flow
- Callback URL: returns you to the correct pdfity page after sign-in, normally for the authentication flow
- OAuth state, nonce, and PKCE verifier: short-lived security values used during provider sign-in
3. What pdfity does not set
pdfity does not set cookies for advertising, marketing attribution, social tracking, behavioral profiling, data sales, or cross-site tracking.

- No Meta Pixel
- No advertising network tags
- No locale cookie
- No anonymous usage-session identifier
4. Cookieless analytics
pdfity may use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights in cookieless mode to understand aggregate page traffic, routes, browser performance, and web vitals.
These services are not used by pdfity to build advertising profiles or track a person across unrelated websites. Technical providers may still process limited request information such as IP address transiently for delivery, security, aggregation, or abuse prevention under their own documentation.
5. Cookie notice acknowledgement
Selecting Accept essential cookies records the notice acknowledgement in local browser storage. It does not enable advertising or marketing cookies.
Essential authentication and security cookies cannot be switched off through the banner because the signed-in service cannot operate safely without them. You can block or clear cookies in browser settings, but sign-in and account features may stop working.
6. Third-party pages
When you choose Google, Microsoft, Apple, Dropbox, Google Drive, Polar checkout, or another external provider, that provider may set its own cookies on its own domain. pdfity does not control those provider cookies.
Review the selected provider’s cookie and privacy information before using its page.
7. Changes and contact
If pdfity ever proposes a non-essential cookie, it will update this policy and provide the controls required by applicable law before enabling it.
